A series dedicated to individuals who have lived inspirational lives.

Song #1 “One of These Days” – A song dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr., John Lewis, Pete Seeger and the Civil Right’s Movement.

Song #2 “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” – A traditional song that was sung often as part of the Civil Rights Movement.

Song#3 “Going Down the Road (Feeling Good) ” (new verses to a Woody Guthrie Depression Era song)

Song #4 “Freedom O’ Freedom” A song about freedom and the responsibility that goes along with it.

Song #5 “This Little Light” – (Harry Dixon Loes ) The Civil Rights Movement was strengthened by people singing together wherever they gathered. This Little Light was one of the most popular songs of the movement.

Song #6 “Gonna Sing Until I’m Done” – A morale booster for those days when we’re having doubts about how we want to proceed in our lives’.

Song #7 “The Hammer Song” – (Lee Hays and Pete Seeger) Written in 1949 in support of the progressive movement, and was first recorded by The Weavers.

Song #8 “May You Rest in Peace” – A peaceful memorial song.
