Dharma Doors

Dharma Doors shares mindfulness practices that you can experience in the moment, inspiring stories, meditations, breath work, music, readings, and more. All to inspire us to remember that “there is no way to peace, peace is the way.”  We want to help each other have compassion and understanding in these difficult times.   The word “Dharma” has many meanings, including teaching, but a teaching embodied through practice and looking deeply.  Each week we will explore the infinite number of  “Dharma doors” or opportunities to bring relaxation, joy, and insight to more moments through mindfulness. Tuesdays from 5 – 6pm and Thursdays 6 – 7am. (Starting Feb 6th)

Derby Rocz

The Cashman, Hater Tot, Farrah Daze Rage and Shockin’ Audrey explore the world of Roller Derby and talk about Rochester’s Roc City Roller Derby’s 2 teams the Roc Stars and the B-Sides.  Catch interviews with the who’s who in the sport, and hear our weekly “explain the rules” segment.  We also tackle issues with this women’s centric sport and the emergence of a men’s league.  Fridays from 7 – 8pm and repeated the next Friday morning at 7am.

Every Album Tells a Story

Each week we look at and listen to an album by a local, regional, or national musical act.  Interviews and live music abounds.  Saturdays Noon – 1pm.

Fresh Toones

Getting Healthy

The Voice of Bhutanese-Nepalese in America

Life is mysterious, we do not know what is next.  “Always learn, be informed, and support each other!” With this slogan in mind, Jeewan Gurung hosts “Nepali Voice in America” so that the Nepali-speaking people across the United States of America can support each other.  Indeed, “Nepali Voice in America” is not only the program for Nepalese people but it is a program for all who speak the Nepali language. It is a completely non-religious and non-political show designed to entertain and educate Nepali-speaking people.
